Collaboration to complete digital thread by delivering cutting edge computer vision and artificial intelligence insight into connected workflow software for real time actions.
Philadelphia (9/9/2020) - Authentise (www.authentise.com), the leader in data-driven workflow tools for additive manufacturing, and Addiguru (www.addiguru.com), provider of affordable and practical real-time monitoring solutions for Additive Manufacturing, are announcing the extension of the Authentise Manufacturing Execution System (AMES) to include real-time process monitoring powered by Addiguru with a computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) based solution.
The integration of Authentise with Addiguru will provide a seamless experience for users seeking to gain practical use from their AM machine monitoring. Alerts from the Addiguru algorithms create real-time notifications within the Authentise web interface and app, display images highlighting potential issues, and visually spotlight the alert within the full workflow view.
The full data suite of images and findings is automatically added to the real-time traceability alert and in a new analytics section for each machine and build. This includes the ability to overlay detected anomalies with sensor data taken from Authentise’s unique access to machine data. Each user can also use this data to create custom alerts, reports and dashboards.
“Existing in-process monitoring tools either require the user to have spent days setting up trial prints or to click through every image to detect potential flaws. The combination of our AI-driven insight and Authentise’s workflow tools enables the user to gain practical benefit in a system they love by having all data and notifications in one place.” says Shuchi Khurana, CEO of Addiguru “This initiative with Authentise also moves us closer to our goal of an open architecture framework.”
“The collaboration with Addiguru is a success because each party brings unique skills: Authentise provides coherent control of the digital thread and access to machine data, to which Addiguru can add visual inspection and intelligent analysis.”, says Andre Wegner, CEO of Authentise. “Our collaboration with Addiguru is testament to both Authentise’s openness and the continued inventiveness of the startup community. While incumbent providers try to develop everything in-house, we work with the brightest minds to ensure that critical, cutting-edge solutions enter the market rapidly. Addiguru joins a variety of partner modules in areas such as geometric search, mesh healing, or quoting. Their integration into our MES makes ground-breaking solutions accessible, affordable and seamless. We are proud to guarantee our clients that they will always have access to
best-in-class solutions.”
Addiguru and Authentise will be talking about their collaboration at The Best of SMX 2020, an online event hosted by SME on October 29th.

About Authentise (www.authentise.com)
Authentise delivers data-driven process automation software for additive manufacturing. Its two products include AMES, a workflow management engine using machine data for automation, and 3Diax, a platform of manufacturing related software modules. These tools help Boeing, Ricoh, 3M, Danfoss and others at the forefront of R&D, prototyping and production to reduce effort and cost, improve traceability and transparency, and deliver quality. The products also serve as their core contextual data engine in manufacturing, enabling them to easily build connected Industry 4.0 solutions. The company was founded in 2012 in San Francisco and operates offices in Philadelphia, London and Kiev.
About Addiguru (www.addiguru.com)
Addiguru provides real time monitoring solutions for the additive manufacturing (3D- Printing) processes. Part defects formed during the build process can be difficult or costly to detect and repair after a part is already finished. Our monitoring technology detects defects using novel computer vision and artificial intelligence algorithms during the build process, which then inform the user via notifications who can make changes to easily repair defects or stop failed prints. Addiguru’s monitoring platform is machine brand agnostic and can easily incorporate different kinds of sensors and data. Addiguru’s system that can be easily incorporated into existing and newly developed powder bed additive manufacturing equipment.
